Discussing the film JUNO

Next lesson we will have discussions in groups about the film Juno. To prepare for this, have a look at the questions below and answer them in brief by making notes. You will not be asked to hand in your answers.

  

Remember to find proof for your arguments in the film. Ask yourself: what happens in the film, that strengthens my argument/view?

 

  1. How does Juno react when she finds out that she is pregnant? 

  2. What do you think about Juno’s father and stepmother? What is their reaction to her being pregnant? Describe the relationship between the father, stepmother and Juno.

  3. Juno is only 16 when she gets pregnant, and she decides to give birth to the baby. What do you think of this decision? What is Juno basing her decision on, do you think
